Case Study #1: Mykonos
I saw photos of this particular restaurant in Mykonos long before I got the chance to see it in the flesh. Let’s just say it was a quite a different experience.

This place is stunning in real life. However it does not look like the photo above, nor do I believe it is “the hidden gem of Mykonos” as I have seen it called on Instagram.
This particular area of Mykonos is called “Little Venice” which, whilst beautiful, is also absolutely crawling with guided tours, to the point where most of my time spent there was shoulder-to-shoulder with another sweaty tourist (nothing ruins the ambience of a place like having someone else’s sweat on your shoulder).
